Combo Captain

I decided to combine two of my favorite things super heroes and fast food. The idea came to me when I had a craving for McDonald's fries with my Popeye's chicken. Like most Americans, I love certain menu items from the various fast food establishments so I created Captain combo, an android who's sole purpose in life is to deliver the perfect fast food meal to those in need. (Check out his stats below.)

Foodie Baby

Providing a delicious healthy meal for your child is one of the main concerns for many parents. With the foodie revolution dominating the webs many moms are finding information on how to create wonderfully gourmet dishes in their own kitchens. As a foodie and a parent I'm constantly thinking of new ways to make food better for my son. I thought it would be cool to make baby food, granted my son is only 2 weeks old I feel that I have 3 months to work on my own recipes. I found this site that broke down everything you needed to know about homemade baby food. I decided that i want my son to be a genius so id create baby brain food to start him off. I found that a lot of the foods on my brain food report card were actually used in about 75% of the baby food recipes, especially avocado which Ive decided will be his very first food. I also found this brand of baby food which is 100% organic and the best alternative to making it your self.

Food in Cartoons

So I was surfing the web and I happened to stumble upon this nifty sideshowabout food in video games. I went home and thought I should make one on food in cartoons. I did my research, (which included about 20hours of watching cartoons, rigorous work I tell you), and assembled this list of food themed characters that seemed influential to me. So for any young chef out there these are the guys you should be watching.

We had a very special week over here at WolfBite. Both Danny Wang (my marketing assistant), and yours truly celebrated out 18th birthdays. So in celebration, I've decided to post some pics of some of the coolest birthday cakes I've seen.

Food for thought

Forget studying and extracurricular activities, your diet may be the most influential factor in your acceptance to an institute of higher learning. When you factor in the amount of energy your brain uses in order to perform all the necessary commands, what you eat plays a definitive role. By incorporating these foods into your diet, you will be able to think better, study harder, and have more energy to get through the day.

A Wholesome good fight...

They all seem so similar to us, but as Huey and I walked in, we instantly felt the difference in each store. Whole foods instantly gave us the feeling as if we were in a secret society, but looking past that, we instantly fell in love with the place. The artisan style offerings pleased our senses as they looked, smelled, and even sounded good. The Hot food selection was healthy and tasty as well. The service was quick, efficient, and well organized. As far as price is concerned, the food is a bit costly, but you do get what you pay for.

On our next leg of our journey, we stopped into the Food Emporium. Something was definitely different, it seemed so, common. In fact, the Food Emporium was nothing more than your everyday supermarket with a larger selection of organic, fair trade offerings. This is what makes it work; it is a lot more convenient and seems to cater to the average shopper. Your old favorites are there, so finding your cheat treats are just as simple in finding the foods you should be eating. The hot food section looked much tastier, but lacked in healthy choices

Our final trip was to trader Joe's. As we walked in, we were greeted by the back of the line. The store was small and gave a very" locals only" appeal. The cashiers seemed to know the shoppers well and the aisles reminded me of the union square market. The meats were not available as fresh cuts, but rather as vacuum sealed packages. As soon as I pulled my phone out to snap a quick picture I was immediately asked to leave. Trader Joe's is definitely not foodie friendly.

(Part1)
We arrived in London with only 6 hours to spare. Earl grey welcomed Joe and Tiramisu at the train station.

"Are you sure about this Joe? it seem too easy." Earl asked. Joe could hear the uncertainty in his voice.

"Positive, Earl. Its ingenious. Hide them in plain sight, right where the conference is being held", Joe shot back.

They raced to the clock tower. Earl ran with Tiramisu as Joe led the way. When they reached the tower, Joe kicked the door down and they raced up the stairs. A hail of bullets hit the floor around them. They took cover under a table and Joe looked over to see Earl Grey was leaking tea from his side.

"Earl, you've been shot!!,". gasped Tiramisu. Her voice cracking from fright.

"Bloody hell!,". he replied, wincing. Tiramisu could see the pain in each sharp breath Earl took.

"OK, Misu stay here with Earl see if you can call for back-up. I'm going to try and get passed the guards." Joe whispered quickly. As they retreated through the door, Joe started to slowly crawl from underneath the table. When suddenly he was met by a gun, pointing at his lid.

"Hey Biscuit, waddaya call a cuppa Joe with a foot on top of him?" said Cupcake with the gun.

"I dunno, Cupcake, what?" sneered Biscuit, jelly dripping at his feet, creating a pool of jam on the floor.

"Fresh ground", said the Cupcake as he kicked Joe in the lid, causing his hot coffee to spray all over the room. All Joe could hear were the screams of agony as he slipped into the darkness his contents slowly spilling onto the floor.

Five Years Ago...

She sat alone, staring at the Statue of Liberty as her ship sailed by. The smell of cocoa permeated the air around her; she smiled.

"First time in America?" he asked her, leaning on the railing. Steam from his top converging with the passing breeze.

"Yes, it's beautiful here. New York City, the city of big dreams."

"You should let me show you the New York that they don't show you in the brochures," he replied with an air of confidence. "Name's Joe, Indiana Joe whats yours?"

"Tiramisu" she whispered in his ear. A smile to crept across his face....

Back at Big Ben...

Joe blinked his eyes as he awoke. His head pounding in perfect metronome with the Big Ben's ticking. He scanned the room and saw that he wasn't alone. In the corner, he could see the three hostages tightly bound together. Churro, A tall tanned Spaniard, Stollen, a old German cake and a petite french pastry, Madeline. The three coffee cakes delegates from the United European Pastry Association. Joe tried to get up, but was unable to move. His arm was hand cuffed to the chair he sat in.

"Finally awake I see. It's been a long time, Joe. A long long time."
Joe recognized the voice. It reminded him of a girl he used to know.

"No. It couldn't be...." Joe mumbled. He could hear coffee sloshing around; Half-full, he thought to himself.

"Oh darling, you didn't think I would let you get away from me, did you?" replied the voice with a slight chuckle. And as the laugh echoed off the rafters, she stepped toward Joe. It was Donut, an old lover. Her two henchmen followed closely behind. Joe could see that the left side of Cupcake's body was permanently disfigured from the hot coffee, Joe couldn't help but smirk inside.

"Donut, why kidnap the European coffee cakes? What do you get out of it?" asked Joe.

"Nothing at all, Sugar I jus' knew that you would run over here if you found out that tramp Tiramisu was in danger" Donut replied. "I just wanted to see you personally and pay you back for breaking my heart. But before I kill you, I just wanna ask one question. Do you still love me?"

"I will always love you, Donut, but this is crazy. Just let the hostages go and we can talk" Joe said, all the while trying to untie the ropes that bound him to his chair. "Just untie me so i can give you a kiss. Like the old days." Biscuit started over. Cupcake following apprehensively. With A wave of Donuts hand, they stopped in their tracks.

'It's OK Ill be fine, boys".

But just as they reached the chair, Joe sprung up grabbed Cupcake and headbutted him knocking him to the floor. Grabbing his lid like a frisbee, Joe launched it, catching Biscuit square in the face, jelly gushing out his sides. Donut rolled out of the way and opened fire.

"I'll kill you for what you did to me, you bastard. There's no one here to save you now,". screamed the irate Donut.

Joe stood. Panting. He didn't have much energy left. At half full his caffeine level was low. It would be a matter of minutes until Cupcake and Biscuit recovered. Joe stared at the clock. He only had one hour to rescue the desserts or the citizens of Europe would start to riot, In search of the national desserts. He closed his eyes in anticipation, knowing the end was near. Suddenly, there was a crash. He opened his eyes to see Tiramusu and the two espresso cups flying through the air. Tiramisu caught Donut off guard and tripped her to the ground, delivering a kick to Donuts gaping hole. Earl Grey appeared at the steps, his arm in a sling. He was followed by the Prime-Rib minister.

"Joe are you OK? We came a quickly as we could," said Earl. Joe walked over and picked his lid up off the floor snapping it on in place. Staring at Tiramisu he smiled "A little bitter Earl, all i need is a little sweetie in my life"
