They all seem so similar to us, but as Huey and I walked in, we instantly felt the difference in each store. Whole foods instantly gave us the feeling as if we were in a secret society, but looking past that, we instantly fell in love with the place. The artisan style offerings pleased our senses as they looked, smelled, and even sounded good. The Hot food selection was healthy and tasty as well. The service was quick, efficient, and well organized. As far as price is concerned, the food is a bit costly, but you do get what you pay for.

On our next leg of our journey, we stopped into the Food Emporium. Something was definitely different, it seemed so, common. In fact, the Food Emporium was nothing more than your everyday supermarket with a larger selection of organic, fair trade offerings. This is what makes it work; it is a lot more convenient and seems to cater to the average shopper. Your old favorites are there, so finding your cheat treats are just as simple in finding the foods you should be eating. The hot food section looked much tastier, but lacked in healthy choices

Our final trip was to trader Joe's. As we walked in, we were greeted by the back of the line. The store was small and gave a very" locals only" appeal. The cashiers seemed to know the shoppers well and the aisles reminded me of the union square market. The meats were not available as fresh cuts, but rather as vacuum sealed packages. As soon as I pulled my phone out to snap a quick picture I was immediately asked to leave. Trader Joe's is definitely not foodie friendly.
